Change in Terms Notice to VISA Check Card Agreement and Related Agreements and Disclosures

Effective July 1, 2008, the Passport Privilege overdraft protection service will be available to qualified cardholders for VISA Check Card ATM and point-of-sale transactions. Effective on this date, we are amending the VISA Check Card Agreement and the Electronic Fund Transfer Disclosures to provide that our $30 Passport Privilege fee will apply when this service is used to pay for an ATM or point-of-sale transaction that would otherwise create an overdraft on your account.

Texas Federal Credit Union offers Passport Privilege as an added member service that protects you from the embarrassment and expense of returned checks and denied VISA check card transactions. Although you are not charged for using Passport Privilege unless you have an overdraft, you may contact us to "opt-out" of Passport Privilege overdraft protection at any time.

The following Texas Federal Credit Union Agreement Disclosures are being updated in accordance with the above:

A copy of this change in terms notice was mailed to all TFCU members with checking accounts with their May statements in June. Copies of all disclosures are available at every branch office and can be mailed to members upon request.
