Share Accounts

A share account is your key to membership in Texas Federal Credit Union! It is a savings account earning competitive dividends on your daily balances.

An initial minimum deposit of $25.00 is your "share" in Texas Federal Credit Union and establishes your status as a member and owner of Texas Federal Credit Union. Dividends accrue daily and are paid monthly in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Accounts and Services Agreement.

One free withdrawal per month is allowed. Subsequent withdrawals will incur a $5.00 excessive withdrawal fee. You may make up to six preauthorized, automatic, telephonic, or audio response transfers during any calendar month. Of the six, only three transfers may be to a third party by check or VISA Check Card. All transactions are detailed on a quarterly statement.

This account is covered by $2,000 of AD&D Insurance which is paid for by Texas Federal Credit Union.
