Q: What is the i-N.E.T.?
A: The i-N.E.T stands for "internet -Networked Electronic Teller" which is Texas
Federal Credit Union’s internet banking program providing TFCU members with online account access through the Internet.

Q: How do I access the i-N.E.T. ?
A: You must first have an existing savings account with TFCU and access to the N.E.T, Texas Federal's "Networked Electronic Telephone-Teller". You may register for The N.E.T. and i-N.E.T. by completing a registration form and returning it to any TFCU branch office.  Once your application is received we will process your request.

Q: Can I create my own password that is easy for me to remember?
A: You will be given a temporary password for access to both the N.E.T. and i-N.E.T., but will be asked to create your own passwords once you login.  After doing so, you may change your password at any time by selecting USER OPTIONS.

Q: What happens if I forget or lose my password?
A: You may reset your own password by using the Reset Password link under the i-N.E.T. login at and answering the challenge question which you established when first logging into the i-N.E.T. or contact us at 214-748-9556 or 800-242-9132 and a TFCU Member Services Representative can assist you.

Q: Is there a demo available for me to try?
A: Yes, click on the “Demo” link under the i-N.E.T. login on the home page at

Q: What can I do with the i-N.E.T. ?
A: You can view account balances and transaction history, view check images, transfer money, set up low balance notifications, pay bills from your checking account online through E-Pay, set up accounts for Text Banking, view E- Statements, use FinanceWorks, download transactions to a personal financial manager, and much more!  Check out the i-N.E.T Demo to see some of the features of the i-N.E.T. and how you can personalize your online experience.

Q: Is any of my personal information stored in the i-N.E.T. ?
A: Yes, the i-N.E.T stores your User ID, password and user preferences. If you keep a stock portfolio, that information is also stored.

Q: How current is my account information?
A: Your account information is updated every business day with new transactions that were posted to your account the previous business day.  The i-N.E.T. provides account balances and available balances based on pre- authorized transactions that may not have posted yet to your account (such as transactions from gas stations, grocery stores, etc).

Q: What accounts will I be able to access through the i-N.E.T. ?
A: From the i-N.E.T., you can access your checking, savings, investment and loan accounts. Our online services are intended to give you as much access, security, and versatility as possible.

Q: How much account information can I view at once?
A: The system will automatically show the current month's transactions and information. However, by selecting User Preferences, you can choose to view the current month and the previous month. Or, you can choose to view your account from the current date to same date of the previous month.

Q: Can I view my account details in more than one way?
A: Yes, you can view your accounts by date, check number, payee, amount or balance in ascending or descending order.

Q: When can I use the i-N.E.T. ?
A: With i-N.E.T., you have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Q: How many stocks can I track in my online portfolio?
A: Your online portfolio will track up to 20 stocks.

Q: How long can I be inactive before being logged out of the i-N.E.T. ?
A: The inactivity time out default is set for 20 minutes. However, you can define the timeout period in the User Options area for 10, 20, 30 or 40 minutes.

Q: What is required to use the i-N.E.T. ?
A: All you need to use the i-N.E.T. is a secure browser that supports 128 bit encryption, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer®, Netscape Navigator® or America Online®. You can use any computer that has Internet access.

Q.  Can I access the i-N.E.T. from my mobile phone ?
A: You may access i-N.E.T. on your smart phone by entering into your mobile browser.
